It is important to obtain an understanding and cooperation between diverse competenses in order to meet future possibilities and the problems and challenges of today. In this process, the services of the ecosystems, economic growth as well as social structures need to be integrated. This is important in order to understand and act on the underlaying problems, instead of fighting their symptoms.The Development Office use a broad internal and external network and we are careful to not only put the product in the center but also see it in its context and the system in which it acts.

The Developing Office aim to work in collaboration with the internal competences of companies to highlight the advantages of integrating design in an early stage of the product development process.

The objective of the Development Office is to create conceptual suggestions, and give tangible examples on how to work with sustainable development through design. If a company chooses to carry out a more comprehensive study within a specific area, the Developing Office co-operates with other companies and institutes that may carry out more detailed solutions and proposals based on project suggestions provided by the Development Office.
